Futures Group has deep expertise in policy and advocacy, research and strategic information, health markets and private sector engagement, modeling and economic analysis, patient monitoring and management/HMIS, strategic consulting, and program management.

POST TITLE:    HMIS Associate

JOB SUMMARY:

• The HMIS Associate will be responsible for database management and administration, including querying of datasets, validation of data and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Query design and verification;
• Writing technical and help documentation;
• Organizing and managing the document repository;
• Technical reporting to the Senior Technical Lead;
• Organizationally reports to Senior Director.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Computer Science;
• Microsoft Certification for SQL Server;
• 3-5 years writing SQL queries;
• Experience with programming;
• Experience manually testing software with and without Test Cases;
• Experience using a defect tracking tool or database;
• Knowledge of SQL Server and MS .Net is required;
• Good oral/written communication skills required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Regularly required to stand or sit, and move about the facility.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Usual office working conditions free of disagreeable elements.
